Calcutta to Varanasi

Recovering from being bloodied by cockroaches

Here is a sequence of images in the morning on our train trip from Calcutta to Varanasi to give an idea of the countryside between the cities and geographic continuity for the trip, after our rather feckless night in second class air conditioned when cockroaches came scuttling out of every crack and tried to eat our food and I ended up streming with blood after getting bitten by bed bugs in the night.
